SeptiQuote Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Six Plum, LLC ("SeptiQuote," "we," "us"), 906 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028, collects and uses information in connection with the SeptiQuote service at septiquote.com.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. Name, email address, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), company details you provide (business name, address, phone, license number, logo).
Customer Data you enter. Your clients' names, contact details, and addresses; quotes, invoices, price books, and payment records you create. When one of your clients signs a quote, we collect the signer's typed name, drawn signature image, email address (if provided), and a timestamp.
Billing information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we receive subscription status and limited billing metadata from Stripe.
Usage and technical data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and error reports, used to operate and secure the Service.
Cookies. We use essential cookies for login sessions. [We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.]
2. How We Use Information
We use information to: provide and operate the Service; send transactional emails on your behalf (quote links, signed-quote confirmations, invites) and to you (receipts, account and security notices); process subscription billing; provide support; secure, debug, and improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your Customer Data for advertising.
3. Emails Sent Through the Service
When you send a quote or a signed-copy confirmation to your client, the email is sent by us on your behalf through our email provider (Resend). Your client's email address is used only to deliver those messages and is stored as part of your Customer Data.
4. How Information Is Shared
We share information only with service providers who process it to run SeptiQuote:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this Policy continues to apply to previously collected data). We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
5. Your Clients' Information
SeptiQuote processes your clients' information (contacts, signatures) on your instructions as part of providing the Service to you. If one of your clients asks about their information in SeptiQuote, we will direct them to you, and will reasonably assist you in honoring deletion or correction requests.
6. Data Retention
We keep account and Customer Data while your account is active. After account closure, data is retained for [60] days for export or reactivation, then deleted, except minimal records we must keep for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (TLS), encrypted storage, role-based access controls, and row-level security isolating each company's data. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected customers of a data breach as required by applicable law.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can access and update your account and company information in the app, export your data, and cancel your account at any time. Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information — contact us at support@septiquote.com and we will respond as required by applicable law (including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and similar state laws). We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Users Outside the United States
The Service is operated from the United States and intended for U.S. businesses. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the U.S.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
